Role Description
Establish, maintain, and manage a diverse range of cell lines
Oversee the tissue culture facility, ensuring optimal conditions and compliance
Support high-content microscopy screening projects from preparation through execution
Perform molecular biology work including cloning and DNA-based assays
Assist with microscopy imaging and sample preparation
Define and implement technical requirements for cell culture infrastructure in close collaboration with our scientific team
Manage acquisition and maintenance of specialist cell culture equipment
Contribute to the maintenance and development of biosafety documentation
Oversee procurement of consumables and reagents – liaising with suppliers and optimising costs
Prepare buffers, media, and reagents to exacting standards
Experience must haves
A degree-level qualification with extensive practical experience in cell culture techniques (or equivalent industry/academic experience)
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a small, interdisciplinary team
Strong communication skills and organisational mindset
A creative, problem-solving approach to technical challenges
High accountability and reliability in delivering on commitments
Flexibility and collaborative spirit in a dynamic environment
And ideally have
Experience with microscopy imaging techniques and sample preparation
Familiarity with biosafety regulations and documentation practices (or a willingness to develop expertise in this area)
Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, particularly cloning and DNA-based assays
