As part of the BubbleFect Beta Program, we’ll schedule a quick discovery call with each participant. It’s a chance to talk through your experiment plans, discuss any individual considerations, and confirm delivery details. More importantly, it’s an opportunity to talk science—ask us questions, and let us help you get the most out of the program and your BubbleFect samples.
This is usually organised as a video call, and you will be given a calendar link to choose your preferred day and time.

Using BubbleFect is refreshingly simple. Just mix your biological cargo whether RNA, DNA, or protein with the BubbleFect reagent in water. Add your standard physiological buffer (e.g. PBS or cell culture medium), and the spontaneous bubble reaction kicks in immediately, making the formulation ready to add to your cells within seconds.
Through our Alpha Program, we’ve discovered valuable optimisations that make the process even smoother. Participants now have access to updated guidance materials and our new BubbleFect Calculator, designed to help you plan experiments with confidence. By tailoring ratios and volumes to your specific setup, the calculator ensures that your first experiments start from a well-informed position, saving time and maximising the BubbleFect-effect.

A typical BubbleFect experiment fits easily into your standard lab schedule. After mixing your cargo with water and adding the BubbleFect reagent, add physiological buffer to get your formulation ready in minutes. Simply apply it to your cells and incubate, no media change or special handling required. Depending on your assay, you can begin to see results in as little as 30 minutes (to track directly labelled cargos) to 12 hours (for protein expression), whether you're tracking fluorescent nucleic acid or protein cargos, mRNA translation, DNA transfection or functional protein activity. Readouts can be observed via microscopy, flow cytometry, or standard plate-based assays, making integration seamless with your existing workflows.

A – Assemble
Mix your cargo with BubbleFect in water – done.
Simply combine your nucleic acid or protein cargo with BubbleFect. Mix by pipetting or vortexing.

B – Bubbles
Add serum-free medium to instantly create Bubbles.
Pipette in serum-free medium – Bubbles form on contact. The solution turns cloudy and is ready to use, no incubation needed. -
C – Cells
Transfer Bubbles onto your cells – that’s it.
Add equal volume of Bubbles to cells. Incubate for 1 hour. Optional: wash cells in rich medium and proceed with your standard assay protocol.
